Look Good Feel Better – any cancer, any person, any time

2023, there were more than 3,400 engagements with Look Good Feel Better, through 393 classes, sessions and services – a programme increase of 42 percent year on year.

We added community classes to three new locations – Kaitaia, Kaikohe and Balclutha – so we now hold our signature skincare and make-up classes in more than 40 locations in towns and city suburbs across Aotearoa.

Ensuring Look Good Feel Better is available anywhere and any time we continue to expand our online and on-demand wellbeing programme. The Covid pandemic was the impetus for scoping an online offering in 2020 and this has grown from 49 classes to now having 12 different programme options and 165 online sessions.

In 2023 Look Good Feel Better added 12 on-demand how-to videos including scarf tying, breathing techniques and what to pack in a chemo bag. There were also 10 very popular monthly expert Q&A sessions and weekly gentle Pilates classes online, as well as the Cancer Conversations podcasts series.
