How to Protect Yourself & Others If You are Attending a Class

Look Good Feel Better is taking a precautionary approach to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will follow the infectious disease protocols advised by the New Zealand Ministry of Health.

We are closely following the advice put out by the Ministry of Health, and here is the first place you should check for the latest updates. You can also call the Healthline dedicated COVID-19 service on 0800 358 5453.  It is free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A reminder that if you have a cold or flu like symptoms please not attend a class.  Cancer patients have a weakened immune system and are vulnerable to catching bugs and germs.

The NZ Government has announced that people travelling to New Zealand from Italy or South Korea will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. Here is the MoH guidelines on how to self-isolate. Travel restrictions for China and Iran have also been extended for a further seven days.  The latest Information for people travelling or recently entering New Zealand is available here.

As advised by the Ministry of Health, the best protection is to take some simple steps:

  • Avoid close contact with people with cold or flu-like illnesses
  • Cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing
  • Wash hands for at least 20 seconds with water and soap and dry them thoroughly:
    • before eating or handling food
    • after using the toilet
    • after coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose or wiping children’s noses
    • after caring for sick people

Look Good Feel Better will be taking precautions as set by each venue and their H&S policy.
