Feel Better Live Online Video classes are for anyone with any type of cancer at any stage. This free class provides an opportunity to learn some practical gentle exercises with Mat Pilates. Shona who is trained in Reformer/Mat Pilates, and Barre will guide you through this gentle exercise session. Through her own cancer journey Shona found a love for Pilates to help gain back strength and mobility.
Pilates is a form of low impact exercise that focuses on improving flexibility, strength, stability, mobility, and body awareness through controlled movements. The class will be between 35-40 minutes long. Each class will start with a couple of minutes of breathing to ground in and allow you to tune into your body. The class will finish with our restorative savasana – think rest and relax!
