Kagi - "Wings of Love"

Kagi release limited edition ‘Wings of Love’ Pendants in conjunction with Look Good Feel Better

This year, Look Good Feel Better celebrates 25 years of making a difference in the lives of New Zealand women with cancer, giving them a reason to smile. Kagi has partnered with the Look Good Feel Better charity across Australasia to design the ‘Wings of Love’ collection. Look Good Feel Better organise a series of free workshops to help support women facing cancer. Inspired by the butterfly, the ‘Wings of Love’ collection is a strong symbol for personal transformation, growth and the ability to go through important changes with lightness and grace. “We are thrilled to be able to support such a worthwhile charity, and I hope that together we will be able to raise well needed funds for this deserving charity. We admire the work that they do as it touches so many women affected by cancer and makes such a difference to how those women feel” Kat Gee Kagi – Founder and Creative Director, Kagi Jewellery.

The large ‘Wings of Hope’ Butterfly Pendant features a sparkling amethyst coloured crystal and over 200 handset cubic zirconias. The pendant also doubles as a brooch. RRP $169 and $25 from every sale of the pendant is donated to Look Good Feel Better.

The small ‘Wings of Hope’ Butterfly Pendant retails for $129 and $15 from the sale of each pendant is donated to Look Good Feel Better.

The demand for Look Good Feel Better’s life-enhancing workshops is at its highest, as every day 60 kiwi women will learn they have cancer - making the need for their services even more vital. The charity provides free workshops for women with any type of cancer as they manage the gruelling side-effects of their treatment.

“These workshops are a rare occasion for participants to feel like a person, not a patient, and claim back their identity – while getting practical tools to combat the ongoing visual and emotional effects of therapy,” Look Good Feel Better’s General Manager, Clare O’Higgins, says. “Last year, Look Good Feel Better held workshops in 24 locations throughout New Zealand. This year, the charity is hosting workshops in 31 cities nationwide. Our aim is to provide enough local workshops so no participant has to travel more than 30 minutes to attend a session that significantly increases positivity at such a difficult time. We receive no direct government funding, so rely on the generosity of New Zealanders and on amazing businesses like Kagi. When Kagi approached Look Good Feel Better, we felt so truly blessed. Their designs are beautiful and this partnership is a practical way we can support our workshops. We are very grateful for the support from Kagi” adds O’Higgins.

The ‘Wings of Love’ Pendants will be available from stockists across New Zealand and Australia and online at www.kagi.net from July 7th 2015
